The Accolade Industrial Real Estate Fund has had a successful year. Despite the difficult period accompanied by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has added 170,000 m2 of new, environmentally friendly business premises worth 140 mil. EUR to its portfolio and brought its investors an appreciation of 9.38% in the euro and 12.66% in the Czech Crown class over the last year. Slovak investors can now also benefit from the growth of e-commerce and logistics.

The decision was officially adopted on Friday by the Supervisory Board of the Volkswagen Group. For the Bratislava plant, this means the beginning of preparations for integration into production and future investments in the amount of approximately EUR 500 million. The total rental activity on the market of industrial and logistics premises in Slovakia reached the level of 75,000 m² in the 3rd quarter of this year. Of this number, renegotiations accounted for only 9,650 m2. The volume of total rental activity thus decreased compared to the same period last year.
SkyTower, the tallest building in Romania, announces the implementation of Spaceflow community management mobile application, a digital communication and interaction platform dedicated exclusively to its tenants. The mobile app offers a fast-digital connection to a variety of services and facilities and a direct connection to the community life in the tower.
Lidl SR is expanding its logistics center in Sered and will employ 40 new regular employees. This warehouse will grow by a quarter of its original area. The total amount of the investment is approximately 13 million euros, the construction work is to last nine months. Tomáš Bezák, head of the company's communication department, informed about it. In Slovakia, Lidl has 144 stores and three logistics centers, while Sered supplies 55 goods in western and southern Slovakia.
The international company Ehlebracht, which currently has its production in Michalovce, will move to Košice in the autumn of next year. The current capacity of the halls, in which it manufactures components for the automotive industry, as well as white goods, is no longer sufficient for it. With the expansion of production, 60-80 new jobs will be created.
