The COVID-19 pandemic had a positive effect on Slovak e-shops. As many as six out of ten online stores saw revenue growth during this period. One third by more than 30%. They also expect an increase in turnover during the current pre-Christmas period. However, even prosperous e-shops did not avoid difficulties. In particular, they struggled with suppliers' outages and logistics problems. These findings resulted from the fifth year of the E-shop Barometer survey, conducted by KPMG in Slovakia in cooperation with ui42.

And with the arrival of March, it was already clear that COVID-19 would also affect the real estate market. As elsewhere in Europe, online sales in Slovakia increased significantly in the spring. The largest increase, according to Google data, compared to last year by more than 40%, was recorded in the household equipment, garden, and leisure industries, but another range also showed a large increase. "The coronavirus pandemic has shown that the logistics chain and its products are likely to change and adapt to new market conditions.
