Šurany Industrial Park: A New Era of Development

The Šurany Industrial Park, a strategic investment project, is officially transitioning from its preparatory phase to the full realization phase. This significant milestone was confirmed by the Slovak government following a report from the Ministry of Economy (MH) SR. Developed by MH Invest, a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy, the project boasts strong organizational and human resources, ensuring its successful execution.

Extensive Infrastructure Development Underway

A major focus of the current phase involves comprehensive infrastructure development. Preparatory work includes the finalization of project documentation for construction and the initiation of public procurement for the general contractor of the park's infrastructure. This will encompass a wide range of facilities crucial for businesses, from roads and utilities to integrated transport solutions.

The Ministry of Economy highlights ongoing evaluations for public procurement related to topsoil storage, site drainage, and overall site preparation, ensuring a robust foundation for future operations. Additionally, permitting for all construction objects is actively in progress.

Enhanced Connectivity and Local Integration

The project extends beyond the industrial park itself, incorporating vital local infrastructure improvements. Plans include significant road adjustments and the creation of new cycle paths designed to seamlessly connect the industrial park with both bus and railway stations, offering excellent multimodal transport options for employees and goods.

Further enhancing the region, the investment also includes the remediation of an existing landfill near the park and connecting parts of the nearby Nitriansky Hrádok to the local sewage and water supply systems, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable and community-friendly development. A bypass for the city of Šurany and additional cycle paths are also planned as part of the induced investments.

Strategic Milestones and Future Expansion

The Šurany Industrial Park has already achieved several crucial milestones, including the timely issuance of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) decision for the strategic area's infrastructure, amendments to the Šurany city's zoning plan, and the preparation and sale of land to the primary investor. Significantly, two independent electricity connection points have already been established, underpinning reliable energy supply for future tenants.

With an estimated total budget of 276 million euros, the project anticipates further expansion. Future steps include amending the certificate of strategic investment to enlarge the investment area, aligning with EIA conditions and other regulatory decisions. This indicates long-term growth potential and flexibility for future occupants.

A Prime Location for Your Business

For businesses seeking a strategic location with extensive, modern infrastructure, strong governmental backing, and significant growth potential, the Šurany Industrial Park presents an unparalleled opportunity. As the project moves into its realization phase, now is the ideal time to consider the advantages of establishing your presence in this rapidly developing Slovak industrial hub.
