Strong progress toward sustainability goals – VGP publishes corporate responsibility report for 2021

Amazon has opened a new humanitarian aid center in Slovakia

In just 10 days, Amazon teams from around the world have come together to build a new humanitarian aid center in Eastern Europe. They managed to convert 5,000 m2 of warehouse space in Slovakia, which was originally used to fulfill orders from customers, into equipment for the collection and distribution of necessary supplies to Ukrainian refugees.

A logistics and industrial park will grow between Prešov and Košice for 35.7 mil. eur

The company Š. B. Invest from Košice plans to build a new logistics and production area in the cadastre of the municipality of Šarišské Bohdanovce (district of Prešov). This is a new activity that builds on the existing logistics and industrial park Nová Polhora located between Prešov and Košice. The estimated construction costs are estimated at EUR 35.7 million. The start of construction is planned for this year, the work should last at least 12 months and more. The construction will be carried out in stages depending on the requirements of the market and clients. The company submitted its intention for an environmental impact assessment (EIA).

VGP has announced the acquisition of new land

Developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics properties VGP will expand its technology complex VGP Park Bratislava. For this purpose, a new acquisition with a total area of 350,000 square meters has already taken place. The park is located in the village Bernolákovo, just a few minutes drive from the capital with direct connections to the D1 motorway.

Tauris Group plans to invest EUR 25 million in the RYBA Košice production plant and logistics and distribution warehouse in Košice

The company has currently started construction of a new central warehouse in Košice with a preliminary budgeted value of EUR 12.2 million. More modern technologies, better conditions for employees or a friendly approach to the environment. All this will bring with it a new warehouse, the construction of which Tauris Group started for its prosperous Ryba Košice plant. The leader in the meat and fish products segment in Slovakia is investing approximately EUR 12.2 million in this project. The new warehouse, which will be located in the industrial zone of the Košice district of Nad jazerom, will be put into trial operation in the spring of 2023.

A new hall was added in the Panattoni industrial park in Košice, and part of it was handed over to the first tenants

A second hall has been added to the area near Panattoni Park Košice Airport in Košice. Developer Panattoni, along with investor Accolade, handed over part of its premises to the first tenants on Tuesday.
