The company ESA logistika opened a new warehouse for dry goods in Senec, Slovakia, near Bratislava, which will offer 12,650 m2 of storage space for 15,400 pallet spaces. ESA logistics already operates its own warehouse in the same location with a capacity of 19,500 pallet spaces. Approximately 20 new employees will find work here, which will increase the total number of ESA logistics employees at the campus in Senec to 140 people.

"The reason for opening a new warehouse is the lack of space in our existing warehouse in Senec and the consequent need to expand it for the needs of new clients. The main one will be a company supplying software and hardware IT solutions through electronic commerce, which is our long-standing client in the Czech Republic, and now we will support it logistically on the Slovak market as well," says Ingrid Domoráková, Logistics Manager of ESA logistika in Slovakia. "The location of the new warehouse in the immediate vicinity of our existing building, where the head office of ESA logistics in Slovakia is also located, is an advantage for everyone," he adds.

Thanks to its direct connection to the Slovak highway network, the warehouse enables fast supply of Central European countries. It works in multi-client mode, it is currently in operation in twelve-hour cycles on weekdays and still offers free spaces to potential interested parties. In addition to storage and handling services, there will also be specialized picking of goods for the e-shop and packaging of shipments for end customers. The space in the warehouse also enables the provision of value-added services (VAS), such as repacking, labeling and other operations with goods.
