The new Panattoni Park Bratislava North logistics hub is located on land with a total area of 330,000 square meters near the village of Plavecký Štvrtok, near Malaciek, with a practical connection to the D2 motorway. This strategic location will provide efficient service for up to four countries. In addition to Slovakia, also for the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.

"This new complex will increase supply capacity and help the more efficient operation of commercial and industrial companies in the wider vicinity of Bratislava. In addition, it will also support the arrival of companies in this region, which has stagnated due to a lack of logistics capacity, "says Erik Ivaničko, Panattoni's director for Slovakia.

"We are pleased that, through the BHS Real Estate Fund, we have helped investors, primarily from the Czech and Slovak Republics, to invest in the logistics complex, which is located on the main connection between Prague and Bratislava. We believe that this complex will contribute to further economic growth of both countries and especially the locality, while the economic effects of the development of this project will remain in the hands of domestic investors, "says Pavel Borovička, CEO of BHS Real Estate SICAV.

"The Panattoni Park Bratislava North project will certainly be one of the major investment projects in this region and especially in the cadastral area of Plavecký Štvrtok. If it becomes sustainable in the long term and at the same time creates new jobs, it will benefit not only society but also the social stability of many families. This automatically becomes a very welcome project for us, "said Radoslav Benkovič, Mayor of Plavecký Štvrtok.

The total investment in this logistics complex was 59 million euros. The first tenants will have two modern buildings with a total area of 18,000 square meters. Both have been designed and constructed to obtain the BREEAM New Construction international environmental certificate at the Excellent level. This certification guarantees environmental friendliness, maximum energy self-sufficiency, above-standard working conditions for employees and the overall level of sustainability of the entire building.

The first tenant in the Panattoni Park Bratislava North complex is the company IKEA Components, which focuses on the purchase, storage, packaging and distribution of furniture components and equipment in IKEA stores. The first tenant occupies a larger hall with a size of 12,000 square meters in the first phase of construction. The hall will be completed at the end of the summer and the company is already planning to start operating at the beginning of September.

Representatives of Panattoni, BHS Real Estate and the mayor of Plavecký Štvrtok buried a time capsule in the Panattoni Park Bratislava North complex, in which several references for future generations were stored. For example, current standards for sustainable buildings according to the highest BREEAM New Construction certification criteria, which may seem out of date in a few years. Then also a commemorative coin from BHS, an IKEA Allen key as the park's first tenant and the issue of the regional quarter Štvrtčany.
