VGP has new tenants. The companies Bufab and SpedDKa welcomed in Zvolen

Developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics real estate, handed over newly completed premises in hall "C" in VGP Park Zvolen to two different tenants. Bufab Slovakia, which is one of the largest suppliers of fasteners and special parts, be it screws, nuts, bolts or drawing parts, has rented a total of 2,500 square meters of warehouse and administrative space. The second tenant is SpedDKa, a specialist in forwarding services and logistics, which has leased a total of 3,000 square meters.

Raben introduced the Eurohub network last year and invested in IT, buildings and sustainability

In the case of the multinational logistics company Raben Group, last year was marked by the consolidation of existing markets through the construction of new premises and the expansion of existing ones. Investments were also made in the development of connections between individual countries in the form of Eurohubs, i.e. ultra-modern logistics depots.

The deputies postponed the effectiveness of the Act on Construction by one year

"The primary incentive for the processing of the draft law is the urgent request to delay the upcoming effectiveness of the Construction Act, as amended, in connection with the unpreparedness for the initiation of permitting processes under the new construction legislation. It is proposed to postpone the effectiveness of the Construction Act by one year, i.e. j. until April 1, 2025," the material for the draft amendment to the law states. The new building legislation was supposed to come into effect on April 1, 2024. However, only part of it, namely the spatial planning law, will enter into force on this date. According to the Ministry of Transport, the main reasons for the postponement of the validity of the Act on Construction are mainly the unpreparedness of the inclusion of the permitting processes of constructions that are subject to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process. The problem is also the time slippage in the preparation of the necessary decrees or forms, as well as the delay in the preparation of the digitization of proceedings in construction. Another reason is the insufficient staffing of the Office for Territorial Planning with trained professional employees to carry out the assumed range of permitting procedures. According to the department, the aim of several changes in the currently valid construction law is to shorten the time of construction preparation, especially the time of administrative assessment in the construction permit phase, in the transitional period, i.e. until the construction law comes into force. According to the Ministry of Transport, due to the temporary nature and urgency of the adjustment, the law does not have the ambition to solve a large-scale amendment to the valid construction law or to modify related regulations in a fundamental way. Deputies also approved the committee's amending proposal, which also regulates the possibility of deciding on the location of nuclear facility constructions and nuclear facility-related constructions. It should be done in the so-called envelope way. Minister of Transport Jozef Ráž (nominee of Smeru-SD) explained the principle of the envelope method. According to Ráž, the internal construction of the projects will be determined by the building permit. The internal arrangement of the buildings should therefore be necessary within the scope of the building permit.

C.S.Cargo Slovakia expanded premises in P3 Košice and extended the lease in P3 Žilina

The leading developer and long-term owner of logistics real estate in Europe, P3 Logistic Parks, has acquired another long-term tenant, the logistics company C.S.CARGO Slovakia, which leased an additional 2,700 m2 of warehouse space in the P3 Košice park to support its expansion in the east of Slovakia. This step followed the extension of the lease for another three years in the P3 Žilina park.

The industrial park with Volvo is preparing new transport connections and an air line

Connecting the Valalika strategic park to roads and railways will require approximately 175 million euros in two phases. An air connection between Sweden and Košice is also planned. This was reported by the state company Valaliky Industrial Park (VIP), which is preparing an industrial park where the Volvo car plant will grow.
